Dr. Nguyen Xuan Truong is the Director of Population Structure and Quality Department, General Office for Population - Family Planning (GOPFP), Ministry of Health. He held BA inmedicine at Thai Binh Medical University, BA in Political theory (Advanced level in political theory) at Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Mr. Truong is currently a member of the scientific council of GOPFP. He has almost 30 years of experience in the field of population and health, of which10 years in dapting to population ageing and health care for older persons. He also participates in developing many reports and programs on population ageing and health care for older persons.
