Fumitaka Machida began his career at The Export-Import Bank of Japan (now JBIC) in 1992. His extensive international finance expertise spans sovereign loans, corporate finance, project finance, equity investment, fund management, and securitization across Asia, Oceania, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Notably, he served as the former Chief Representative of Regional Headquarters for Asia and Pacific at JBIC from 2012 to 2016. Renowned for his achievements in PPP infrastructure projects, earning several Deal of the Year accolades, he was appointed Counsellor and Special Advisor to Japan's National Policy Unit by the Prime Minister in 2009. His board membership in investment banks and Asian infrastructure firms further enriches his multifaceted experience. Presently, Fumitaka Machida has contributed as an ERIA Financial Expert since 2016 and Senior Fellow of Healthcare Service since 2020.
