Tokuaki Shobayashi, MD, PhD

Health Policy Advisor to the Vietnamese Ministry of Health

Dr Tokuaki Shobayashi is the Health Policy Advisor to the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam. With an esteemed academic journey, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Tottori University, Japan, in 1989. Further enriching his expertise, Dr Shobayashi obtained a Master of Science of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 1997 and a PhD from Showa University, Japan, in 2003. He had worked for the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japanese Government for 30 years and retired as a Director General, Health Service Bureau in 2021.
